What Causes QuickBooks Error OL-222?

Bank Merged or Rebranded

A bank merger or rebrand changed the financial institution's QB profile ID. QB looks for the old bank profile and can't find it in Intuit's updated directory, returning OL-222. Disconnecting and searching for the new bank name resolves this.

Corrupted QB Online Banking Data
