The error log identifies the specific employee, pay item, or account mapping causing the failure. Common issues: pay items mapped to inactive GL accounts, subsidiary mismatch between employee and payroll account.

Fix account mapping: Setup and gt; Payroll and gt; Payroll Items and gt; find the flagged pay item and gt; confirm the GL account is active and belongs to the correct subsidiary. Update if needed and gt; reprocess the payroll run.

This restores the authentication and resumes automatic payroll journal entry posting.
