How to Fix QuickBooks Error 1801
QuickBooks displays: "Error 1801: The path [path] is not valid. Please verify that the path to the installation folder is accessible."
Error 1801 means the QB installer cannot write files to the target installation path. At QuickFix Bookkeeping, 1801 is caused by one of three conditions: insufficient disk space, the target folder path does not exist or is inaccessible, or the installation path contains special characters that Windows Installer cannot parse. The fix is quick once you identify which of the three applies.
